Hiking

Today we ate breakfast at the station. Then we took the bus to a local market where we bought fruits.

We then climbed to the top of mount Vuria, which is about 2,3 km high, the path was steep and it was hot and the air was thin so the climb was tough. We took a "shortcut" trough the jungle, it was beautiful but the passage was a bit tough at some points. We managed to reach the top and stayed there while eating our snacks, the view was breathtaking. The way down was easier and took less time.

After Vuria, we went to a skull cave. The way there was exhausting, but the experience was exciting. About 300 skulls from former leaders were placed there. The former chief told us the history about the place and they showed us the ritual.

On our way back to the station we stopped to buy some drinks and then we were serverd dinner. We ended the day by going to the sauna.
